René Descartes

Rene Descartes was a great scientist of the 1600's. With his help, the scientific method became what it is today. Descartes grew up in France and attended college at La Fleche, throughout his life he traveled a lot and wrote many books. Though some of his writing was controversial he achieved great fame and advanced the world of science.
